what is Aspergers Syndrome

Aspergers Syndrome is one type of pervasive development disorder (PDD). PDDs are a group of conditions including developmental delays in basic skills such as socializing with the skills, communicate and use imagination. At first glance, this is similar to Asperger's Autism. Especially since autism is also one of PDD disease. However, children with Asperger's syndrome generally have better function than children with autism.


The similarity of properties with autism is in response to sensory stimuli. They can be hyper sensitive to some specific stimulus, and will be bound to an unusual behavior in acquiring a particular sensory stimuli.
The name of this disorder derives from the name Origin Austrian physician, Hans Asperger who first described this disorder in 1944. Where Hans explained that children who have this disease have a level of intelligence and language development are normal like other normal children, but they are people with AS (Red: abbreviation dr Aspergers Syndrome) deficient in terms of social relationships and skills in communicating.
